Job Summary

Join AECOM’s Southeast Transportation team as Roadway Engineers, Designers, CAD Designers and Modelers. Work on alternative delivery projects and mega-projects across the southern US, using Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads for roadway design, calculations (SSD, DSD, superelevation) and AASHTO guidelines, in a hybrid office/remote setup with growth opportunities.

Job Function: Design (Product/UX/UI/Visual)

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in roadway design and analysis for varying project levels (junior to senior) using standard engineering practices
•Produce roadway CAD drawings and 3D models for transportation projects
•Perform design calculations including Superelevation, SSD, DSD, and acceleration/deceleration lanes
•Apply design guidelines (2018 AASHTO Green Book) and collaborate on Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects
•Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and DOT/state agencies to support project delivery

Key Requirements

•BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•EIT Certification or PE License; State DOT experience
