Key Responsibilities

•Lead procurement activities for assigned commodities, including reducing warehouse inventory value.
•Place a procurement mindset in front of the buying cycle and bring competitive sourcing to the purchasing area.
•Provide local input for global consolidation and participate in strategic sourcing activities to keep plant operations operational.
•Prepare RFP/RFQ, lead sourcing projects from inception to execution, and issue purchase orders after requisitions.
•Streamline purchase orders, maximize leverage spend and blanket orders, and ensure strong cost control and governance with internal stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
•3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
•Solid working knowledge of SAP.
•Ability to influence stakeholders and bring a procurement mindset to the buying cycle.
•Project management mindset with the ability to present a business case and demonstrate cost reduction.
