Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build ingestion, transformation, and modeling layers for client reporting.
  • •Own data models end to end, documenting reasoning and ensuring proper testing.
  • •Profile, clean, and reconcile source data before it reaches the reporting layer.
  • •Build the analytics layer to answer client questions and interpret business impact.
  • •Present designs, findings, and recommendations directly to client stakeholders, including non-technical audiences, and contribute to pre-sales scoping.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3 years building and maintaining production data pipelines relied on by other teams.
  • •A current cloud certification within the data, analytics, or machine learning track (certifications outside that track don’t satisfy the requirement).
  • •Advanced SQL skills including window functions, CTEs, set logic, and aggregation at the correct grain, plus the ability to explain performance issues.
  • •Production dbt experience including incremental models, snapshots, and tests, with a project structure you designed.
  • •Strong relational modeling depth (normalisation, grain, key relationships, slowly changing dimensions) and ability to make denormalisation decisions.
