Job Summary

Develop and grow merchant services client relationships within Consumer Business Banking by prospecting and referring small and medium-sized businesses. Consult with prospects to recommend payment processing solutions such as credit card, check processing, gift cards, and ACH, along with related hardware and software. Identify additional banking needs and coordinate with internal resources to deliver solutions, resolve client issues, and help retain profitable merchant relationships.

Key Responsibilities

•Acquire new merchant services relationships through prospecting and referrals within the assigned territory.
•Consult with prospects to identify payment solutions and present/sell merchant payment processing (credit card, check processing, gift cards, ACH) plus related hardware and software.
•Identify merchants’ other banking needs and coordinate internal resources to deliver solutions.
•Prospect small and medium-sized businesses in the assigned region to supplement referrals.
•Comply with KeyBank policies and procedures while acting ethically and in clients’ best interests.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 48,000 - 72,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (required).
•1+ years of payments-related experience in a banking environment (required).
•1+ years of success in a client-focused environment with aggressive growth and service goals (required).
•Strong financial acumen, including ability to read and understand financial statements.
•Exceptional negotiating and closing skills.
