Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and maintain stable product requirements that an R&D organization can realistically execute.
  • •Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and systems engineering, making cost/schedule/thermal/maintainability/open trade-off decisions.
  • •Convert customer, regulator, and procurement requirements into technical direction and decisions about what to contribute to open communities vs keep as differentiation.
  • •Build business cases and investment dossiers for both community contributions and proprietary differentiation.
  • •Represent the roadmap to customers and partners and relay customer needs to engineering in usable terms.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in product management or technical product ownership for internally developed hardware, firmware, or systems, ideally for servers, storage, networking, or data center platforms.
  • •Sufficient technical depth to be credible with firmware and hardware engineers, and the ability to challenge trade-offs and funding decisions.
  • •Familiarity with open hardware ecosystems, open firmware, platform security, and lifecycle management is a strong plus.
  • •Ability to decide with incomplete information and take responsibility for outcomes.
  • •Fluency in English for the role; role is based on the company site in Les Clayes-sous-Bois.
