Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Emergency Management team servicing clients preparing for, responding to, and recovering from disasters nationwide and in US territories.
  • •Deploy to Emergency Operations Centers and/or Field Staging Areas prior to, during, and post-disaster operations.
  • •Perform logistics, supply, cost/documentation, and/or resource unit functions during deployments.
  • •Attend periodic training throughout the year to maintain deployment eligibility.
  • •Support Emergency Management Project Management functions and perform additional responsibilities as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in emergency management or equivalent.
  • •5+ years of emergency management experience, with City/County/District/State-level experience preferred.
  • •Project procurement/administrative experience in emergency management and strong knowledge of emergency management principles; knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle, and SAP.
  • •FEMA Emergency Management Institute Independent Study Professional Development Series certification.
  • •Must be able to deploy to disaster areas with little or no notice (typically within 24–48 hours) and successfully pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening.
