Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as principal technical investigator on complex business cases using economic analysis methods such as microeconomic modeling, econometric estimations, and cost-benefit analyses.
  • •Build business and investment models, including custom discounted cash flow (DCF) models, to calculate revenue, EBITDA, NPV, IRR, and related metrics for client policies, projects, and programs.
  • •Use analytical and data visualization tools (e.g., ArcGIS, Python, Tableau) to identify patterns, trends, and insights from client and third-party datasets.
  • •Conduct stakeholder interviews, including C-suite and senior management stakeholders, and synthesize inputs into executive-ready insights across multiple formats.
  • •Oversee and provide quality control for analytical tasks assigned to junior team members and create polished, executive-ready decks and narrative deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Public Policy, Finance, or a quantitatively related field plus 4 years of experience as a professional economist and/or quantitatively inclined management consultant (or equivalent experience).
  • •At least 2 years of management consulting or equivalent experience.
  • •Experience in microeconomic modeling and econometrics with strong numerical reasoning and quantitative business acumen.
  • •Experience in funding and financing strategies, including value capture, and in economic and fiscal impact analysis.
  • •Experience in financial modeling to determine feasibility of infrastructure investments, including evaluating financial cashflows and public finance.
