Job Summary

Operate ready-mix trucks safely and professionally to deliver ready-mixed concrete to commercial and residential job sites. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain equipment in a clean and safe condition, verify mix specifications after loading and at the site, and manage chute placement and unloading. Clean the truck after delivery to prevent concrete buildup, align the mixer drum, and follow supervisor-directed duties.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate ready-mix trucks in a safe and professional manner in the plant yard, on public highways/roads, and at job sites.
•Perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections and maintain equipment in a safe, clean condition.
•Verify mix specifications after loading and at the job site.
•Align the mixer drum under the disbursement chute, drive to the unloading location, and release concrete down the truck chute into the pouring area.
•Clean the truck after delivery, place/operate chutes to deliver product as directed, and complete other assigned duties.

Key Requirements

•Perform ready-mix truck operations safely across plant yard, public highways/roads, and job sites for commercial and residential deliveries.
•High school diploma or GED preferred.
•1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent education/experience).
•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
•Must possess a valid CDL Class A or Class B and a valid DOT-standard Medical Card.
