Key Responsibilities

  • •Support a wide range of projects for new power services, including upgrades and new installations.
  • •Coordinate with clients, project managers, engineers, and designers to help ensure seamless project delivery.
  • •Apply engineering calculations to prepare design and construction packages for overhead and underground power distribution systems.
  • •Perform quality reviews of design deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable standards.
  • •Design and analyze overhead and underground distribution systems and support construction implementation, including site visits as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
  • •Eligibility for registration, or current registration, with ASTTBC.
  • •Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
  • •Demonstrated interest or experience in power distribution design, consulting engineering, the electric utility industry, or related infrastructure sectors.
  • •Familiarity with utility standards, CSA requirements, and powerline construction techniques; proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn technical software and design tools.
