Job Summary

Drive debug and validation for server systems, firmware, and SoC programs, improving AMD’s capabilities through technical innovation and enhanced debug/validation methodologies. Develop tools and scripts, investigate and resolve root causes across bring-up, validation, and production phases, and collaborate with multiple engineering teams to ensure timely, optimized feature validation. Contribute to modeling frameworks and lab-based analysis using common debug equipment.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive technical innovation to improve debug and validation capabilities, including tool and script development and methodology enhancements.
•Debug issues during bring-up, validation, and production phases of SoC programs.
•Collaborate with multiple teams and track test execution to ensure features are validated and optimized on time.
•Work closely with supporting technical teams.
•Engage in software/hardware/system modeling frameworks and lead a collaborative approach across teams.

Key Requirements

•Experience with debug techniques and methodologies.
•Extensive board/platform-level debug experience, including delivery, sequencing, analysis, and optimization.
•Strong knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategy.
•Experience with common lab equipment such as protocol/logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
•Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (highly preferred).
