Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate across stress, design, electrical, materials and process engineering to improve product design for maximum producibility and manufacturability
•Lead the implementation of process technology upgrades through robotics and automation to enhance efficiency
•Participate in Continuous Improvement events across business processes and leadership levels
•Assist in the design and arrangement of tooling and machines for the manufacturing process (layout) with the production team
•Identify opportunities on drawings and specifications to influence design changes that improve manufacturing and producibility

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

•Experience adapting equipment or tooling design to factory and production conditions
•Experience with Continuous Improvement tools
•Experience with CAD design software
