Job Summary

Assist clients with originating residential mortgage loans by analyzing needs and advising on home lending options. Develop referrals to grow Key’s home lending business and meet established sales goals while maintaining high client satisfaction and loan quality. Process and coordinate family residential real estate transactions, gather required documents, and remain the primary point of contact through closing. Build product knowledge and partner with real estate agents and financial advisors.

Key Responsibilities

•Prospect home lending business and build new client loan originations and relationships.
•Originate and process targeted residential mortgage transactions according to Home Lending process and product guidelines.
•Provide clients with detailed information about mortgage options, interest rates, and terms to support informed decisions.
•Gather documents at loan registration and serve as the primary point of contact through the loan process.
•Maintain product knowledge, monitor real estate/mortgage industry trends, and work in a branch environment to provide in-person services 4+ days/week.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience as a loan officer in first mortgage production (preferred).
•3+ years working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, TIL regulations, and related mortgage and lending laws (preferred).
•Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience (preferred).
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Proficiency in sales and service skills, including tele-consulting, prospecting, networking, and COI relationship management.
