Job Summary

Provide on-site and remote technical and logistics support for Skydio customers, combining UAS experience with product knowledge to troubleshoot firmware, network, and cloud issues. Act as a liaison between customers and product/engineering teams, build field support processes, and drive improvements in customer experience across the Hudson Valley and greater NYC region.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Provide on-site and remote technical and logistics support for Skydio customers, performing device firmware troubleshooting and cloud network optimization
•Diagnose root causes of flight and media/skill-related issues through log analysis and incident tickets, and provide mitigation recommendations
•Collaborate with Product, Support and Engineering teams to drive product enhancements and customer experience improvements
•Develop and refine field support processes to accelerate escalation and debugging workflows
•Train customers on maintenance and operation techniques for UAS aircraft and docks

Key Requirements

•3+ years of civilian, law enforcement or military UAS operations and flight experience
•Experience in military, law enforcement or civilian operational, technical, or customer-facing success or field support roles
•Ability and willingness to occasionally work flexible hours, including after-hours and weekend support on rotation or as-needed basis
•Assertive self-starter with strong interpersonal and written communication skills
•Proficient in onsite real-time technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, and triage/escalation workflows
