Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive strategic direction for national corporate accounts, aligning Smithfield goals with customer objectives to build long-term partnerships and sustainable growth.
  • •Lead and support a network of sales professionals (Divisional Directors, Regional Managers, and broker partners) to deliver results across processed and fresh pork categories.
  • •Collaborate across business, marketing, finance, and operations to optimize pricing, forecasting, innovation, and logistics for each customer relationship.
  • •Develop category management strategies balancing branded and distributor portfolios, rationalizing SKUs, and launching new items to stay competitive.
  • •Provide leadership that supports positive employee experiences through development and coaching.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience in non-commercial foodservice trade (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • •2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership.
  • •Strong understanding of food business industry dynamics and retail channels.
  • •Demonstrated customer-focused, fact-based selling experience using IRI, Neilsen and Perishable Group data.
  • •Strong communication, organizational planning, adaptability, and critical thinking/problem-solving skills.
