Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership as a hands-on individual contributor for ML and GenAI capabilities in Business Banking.
  • •Develop and deploy advanced ML models on a cloud-native data platform to serve business customers.
  • •Partner with Product and data stakeholders to identify high-impact opportunities, size impact, and define success metrics.
  • •Design robust evaluation and monitoring for responsible model deployment and production impact measurement.
  • •Lead design and implementation of batch and near-real-time models, collaborating with MLOps and Backend Engineering to operationalise end-to-end.

Key Requirements

  • •Multiple years of experience leading the development and deployment of advanced Machine Learning models to solve real business problems, ideally in a fast-moving tech company.
  • •Experience developing and shipping state-of-the-art ML models to production and delivering measurable business impact.
  • •Hands-on expertise with Python and scikit-learn, plus comfort using SQL; eager to learn Go as used in backend microservices.
  • •Ability to work productively in ambiguous environments, helping teams and stakeholders resolve ambiguity.
  • •Thoughtful approach to responsible ML/AI in financial products, including trust, transparency, and customer control.
