Key Responsibilities

  • •Review work orders, assess tools/equipment/parts/supplies, and use SAP to create work orders; respond quickly to emergency calls.
  • •Monitor machinery, troubleshoot mechanical equipment, replace and reassemble parts, and test to ensure proper functionality.
  • •Fabricate replacement parts when necessary using welding, cutting, and sheet metal work.
  • •Install and maintain mechanical equipment, piping, and electrical controls to meet manufacturer specifications and local safety regulations.
  • •Follow safety protocols including LOCKOUT/TAGOUT and adhere to GMPs during maintenance and repairs.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or GED) and 1+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance experience, or 4 years of direct experience in the same fields.
  • •Vocational diploma, technical diploma, or associate degree from a technical maintenance or vocational school (preferred).
  • •Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with team personnel and outside contractors.
  • •Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
  • •Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, including reading and executing work orders and writing daily reports.
