Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a key contributor to annual budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with sales, manufacturing, and corporate finance.
  • •Conduct financial analyses and special project work, including pro formas, discounted cash flows, ROI, and business valuations.
  • •Support the division financial close process and assist with Internal Audit and SOX requirements.
  • •Develop and implement approaches and templates to improve financial reporting, forecasting, planning, and analytics.
  • •Review capital projects to confirm accuracy, reasonableness of financial projections, and compliance with corporate/division capital policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent.
  • •Preferred certifications: CPA or CMA.
  • •Strong knowledge of Sonoco’s business and/or experience in other manufacturing settings.
  • •Experience with Oracle, Hyperion Planning, Onestream, and EFI Radius.
  • •Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn multiple disciplines and technologies.
