Job Summary

Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineering consultant supporting healthcare, laboratory, and higher education projects. Responsible for research, design, planning, and integration of plumbing and fire protection systems, generating reports, and ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards. Works both independently and with cross-functional teams to develop and implement future-ready plumbing solutions using AutoCAD/Revit and data-driven analyses.

Key Responsibilities

•Research, design, concept development, planning, and integration of plumbing and fire protection systems for projects.
•Generate accurate reports and documentation regarding installation, construction, and operation specifications to meet industry safety and design standards.
•Collaborate with engineers, architects, and authorities on federal, state, and local projects and ensure compliance with applicable rules and permits.
•Support development and scoping of small- to medium-sized projects and prepare technical reports and presentations explaining findings.
•Assist in site investigations, data analysis, and preparation/implementation of Health and Safety Plans (HASPs).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering, or closely related discipline.
•3 to 5 years of relevant post-education experience in plumbing and fire protection engineering design; ideally in healthcare, laboratory, and higher education spaces.
•Engineer in Training Certification.
