Job Summary

Oversee the full lifecycle of database systems including deployment, security, performance optimization and documentation. Utilize a developer’s toolkit (C#, ASP.Net) and a broad client/server infrastructure background to support on‑premises and cloud environments, collaborate with Systems/Software Engineers, and drive BI and reporting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, deploy, and manage database systems, ensuring optimal performance, data integrity and security.
•Manage Oracle and SQL RDBMS (patching, backups, recovery), develop database objects, and provide performance tuning.
•Develop database objects and scripts in alignment with project requirements and performance goals.
•Provide technical support for client/server systems, including both cloud-based and on premise server environments.
•Manage and maintain network infrastructure, web services, SharePoint forms and reporting tools such as Splunk or Rapid7.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) or related field.
•5+ years of experience in database engineering, administration and IT infrastructure management.
•Expertise in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle and Postgres.
•Hands-on experience with Linux command-line tools for database administration.
•Strong development skills with Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, ASP.Net, MVC, and MS SQL.
