Lead Software Engineer, Search (Semantic Platform)

Lead the design and implementation of semantic, hybrid search on OpenSearch, blending BM25 keyword matching with vector-based neural retrieval. Own the indexing and data ingestion pipelines that enable dense vector ingestion and resilient synchronization. Continuously benchmark and fine-tune relevance, ranking, and k-NN/neural search configurations, while guiding the Search team’s roadmap and mentoring engineers. Ensure ultra-low latency and high-availability for massive traffic and participate in on-call.
