Key Responsibilities

  • •Shoot, write, and edit daily stories, gather material for the rundown, and contribute to building it.
  • •Set up, run, and manage live shots independently and provide on-air news during studio and field shoots.
  • •Write, produce, and present fair, correct, unbiased news and feature stories for television and digital/online platforms, including OTT filing.
  • •Keep information on local and national news events current, draft story elements (stories, headlines, news updates), and respond quickly to breaking news.
  • •Support enterprise investigations by helping set up sources, investigating information to find facts, and proposing and maintaining story ideas year-round.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ year of experience shooting with HD Cam.
  • •1+ year of experience working with film or video lighting.
  • •3+ years of experience as a reporter in a Spanish top 10 broadcast television market.
  • •Bilingual (English/Spanish) with a prominent level of proficiency in Spanish, for written and verbal communication.
  • •Knowledge of Dalet, iNews, non-linear editing systems, and camera operation.
