Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement and maintain defense-in-depth infrastructure and application security solutions for AWS public cloud environments in a DevSecOps mindset
  • •Architect, implement, configure and automate cloud security solutions for hardening, vulnerability management, logging and response to security threats and vulnerabilities
  • •Provide security thought leadership and guidance to the organization
  • •Collaborate with Product, Engineering and IT in a DevSecOps model on technologies like FWs, ACLs, IAM roles/permissions, vulnerability management and container security
  • •Assist in incident response and triaging activities and explore AI-enabled security operations to streamline incident management

Key Requirements

  • •5-7 years deploying and administering security infrastructure in AWS public cloud environments, using Infrastructure as Code required
  • •Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud platform (AWS or GCP) with advanced knowledge of securing IaaS services (WAFs, Security Groups, EC2/EKS, ECR, S3, RDS) and logging/monitoring
  • •Experience collaborating with Product, DevOps and CloudOps SREs on shift-left strategies and CI/CD tools
  • •Experience with cloud-native security in authentication, access management, API security, Linux security, vulnerability scanning, threat detection, firewalls, WAF, encryption, container security
  • •Python for automation is a plus, with preferred security certifications from AWS, GCP, CISSP, CEH, OSCP
