Key Responsibilities

•Design, implement and maintain defense-in-depth infrastructure and application security solutions for AWS public cloud environments in a DevSecOps mindset
•Architect, implement, configure and automate cloud security solutions for hardening, vulnerability management, logging and response to security threats and vulnerabilities
•Provide security thought leadership and guidance to the organization
•Collaborate with Product, Engineering and IT in a DevSecOps model on technologies like FWs, ACLs, IAM roles/permissions, vulnerability management and container security
•Assist in incident response and triaging activities and explore AI-enabled security operations to streamline incident management

Key Requirements

•5-7 years deploying and administering security infrastructure in AWS public cloud environments, using Infrastructure as Code required
•Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud platform (AWS or GCP) with advanced knowledge of securing IaaS services (WAFs, Security Groups, EC2/EKS, ECR, S3, RDS) and logging/monitoring
•Experience collaborating with Product, DevOps and CloudOps SREs on shift-left strategies and CI/CD tools
•Experience with cloud-native security in authentication, access management, API security, Linux security, vulnerability scanning, threat detection, firewalls, WAF, encryption, container security
•Python for automation is a plus, with preferred security certifications from AWS, GCP, CISSP, CEH, OSCP
