Job Summary

Join CAE’s new Data and AI Platform team within the Data Strategy group as a Data Specialist intern. Assemble and secure large datasets, improve internal processes through automation and scalable infrastructure redesign, and build analytics tools that turn the data pipeline into insights on customer acquisition and operational efficiency. Work with a multidisciplinary, cross-functional environment and support business transformation while contributing to data separation across national boundaries.

Key Responsibilities

•Assemble large, complex datasets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
•Design and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery.
•Build analytics tools using the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and business performance metrics.
•Keep data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers.
•Actively participate in business transformation efforts.

Key Requirements

•Strong knowledge of French and English, both written & spoken.
•Experience with data, coding and scripting (Python/Java/Scala/SQL/JS/Bash) and Microsoft cloud services (Azure, Databrick).
•Experience developing and administering large data systems.
•Experience with cross-functional work and big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
•Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server and CosmosDb.
