Key Responsibilities

•Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
•Develop understanding of cement manufacturing and propose changes to improve operating costs, efficiencies, environmental impact, and product quality.
•Rotate through manufacturing departments including quarry, production, maintenance, shipping, environmental, safety, and quality.
•Participate in process, maintenance, and engineering activities such as mass/heat balances, equipment inspection, preventative maintenance, reliability engineering, and capital projects.
•Participate in electrical and automation engineering activities including PLC and DCS programming; may perform performance testing and measurements.

Key Requirements

•Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, and signs.
•Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering (or similar) required.
•Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
