Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete a rapid needs analysis by gathering user requests, researching existing assessment options, and proposing solutions to Edify’s Latin America and Edify IT/Salesforce teams.
  • •Deliver a key features document (June) and a matrix comparing features with existing tools plus prioritized recommendations (early July).
  • •Collect stakeholder feedback on the matrix and recommendations (mid/late July) and identify the assessment tool and necessary adaptations (late July).
  • •Create a new assessment tool or adapt an existing one, including Salesforce integration and a school reporting system (August), and run a select-schools pilot (late August).
  • •Refine the tool based on school feedback and hand over a final prototype with any needed backend changes (September).

Key Requirements

  • •Understanding of assessment design and how to develop empirically-valid questions.
  • •Knowledge of early grades literacy skills and competencies, including reading comprehension.
  • •Understanding of literacy assessment at the secondary school level.
  • •Strong analytical and research skills.
  • •Spanish proficiency and ability to communicate requirements to technical leads; coding and/or database knowledge is a plus.
