Job Summary

Support pre-silicon functional validation of Soft IP and subsystems for client, server, and custom ASIC solutions. Execute functional tests on latest-generation IP RTL, help bring up validation environments, and perform first-line troubleshooting to assist root-cause analysis. Work with FPGA-based early prototyping and emulation validation hardware, and document learnings and failure findings to meet design requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist pre-silicon functional validation tests to validate Soft IP or subsystems using FPGA-based early prototyping and emulation validation hardware.
•Execute functional tests on latest-generation IP RTL.
•Help bring up the validation environment.
•Troubleshoot and provide first-line debugging to support failure root-cause analysis.
•Document and report learnings and failure findings.

Key Requirements

•Open to final year or 3rd year tertiary students with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Microelectronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
•Knowledge of computer system architecture.
•Understand a subsystem HW/SW stack, including onboard HW components and connectors/adapters, and device drivers and applications.
•Experience with Python and C and/or C programming.
•Highly motivated, curious, and able to work as a team player to find and resolve silicon failures.
