Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the cloud adoption/migration discovery phase by partnering with architects and security to define DevOps and cloud engineering architectures.
  • •Lead automation of change management, building resiliency, monitoring, capacity planning, and emergency response for responsible products.
  • •Provide service reliability, scalability, and performance leadership as part of system enablement for Agile release trains, improving product/service lifecycle through continuous deployment pipelines.
  • •Review deployment and operational environments to reduce failures, troubleshoot across the infrastructure stack, expand monitoring capabilities, and manage technical operations.
  • •Collaborate with release engineering, product development, and security to implement change-management strategies such as canary-style deployments and safe rollbacks.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, Computer, Engineering or Software Engineering.
  • •5+ years of hands-on build automation and continuous integration/delivery experience with tools including Git, Groovy, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Nexus, Artifactory, Selenium, Jenkins, and OpenShift.
  • •Experience with container orchestration technologies including Kubernetes/OpenShift, HELM, and ECR.
  • •Extensive experience in architecture and best practices in hybrid cloud environments or Amazon AWS/Azure Cloud.
  • •Experience with CI/CD automation for microservices and systems monitoring/alerting using tools such as AppDynamics, Logstash, and Splunk, plus infrastructure configuration automation using Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible.
