Key Responsibilities

•Lead strategic opportunity support and revenue impact by partnering with Solutions Specialists to influence pipeline progression and win rates.
•Maintain discipline-specific expertise and demonstrate digital proficiency with Cengage platforms, staying current on trends and best practices.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Technology, and Marketing to share customer feedback, support pilots, and develop scalable assets for field enablement.
•Represent Cengage as a lead presenter at conferences, events, and larger academic gatherings to build market presence and thought leadership.
•Mentor Solutions Specialists and Account Directors, aligning with national discipline strategy and sales enablement needs.

Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 88,600 - 115,200 annually

Key Requirements

•Deep expertise within the assigned academic discipline OR at least 5–7 years of experience in EdTech, higher education, curriculum, or related fields.
•Successful customer-facing experience with a track record in sales, pre-sales, consultative selling, or solution development.
•Ability to travel nationally (up to 50%) for high impact opportunities and events.
•Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to persuade, educate, and inspire diverse academic audiences.
•Familiarity with Salesforce and digital selling environments (preferred).
