Job Summary

Define and drive end-to-end server product architecture for AMD EPYC-based datacenter systems, translating outside-in usage cases into a holistic, constrained HW/SW platform vision. Partner with customers, processor/IP/SOC, network and IO device architects, and application/system software developers to optimize performance, power balance, and cost. Lead R&D efforts for next-generation server designs and apply deep expertise across memory, I/O, signal/power integrity, packaging, thermal, boot, firmware, and hardware management.

Key Responsibilities

•Define server product architecture and end-to-end system architecture for EPYC-based products.
•Architect solutions using AMD processors, accelerators, and network components for high-performance computing and large-scale datacenter applications.
•Collaborate with customers and internal engineering teams to define product/system/component requirements for best performance, power balance, and cost.
•Conduct R&D for next-generation server designs to continually improve performance.
•Influence future products/solutions by contributing to product and system architecture and technology execution.

Key Requirements

•Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with extensive experience.
•Demonstrated server products expertise across architecture, development, design, bring-up/validation, and release to production.
•Detailed understanding of server industry standards such as DDR, PCIe, and SATA, plus other high-speed I/O protocols.
•Deep knowledge of product architecture and design including memory, I/O, signal integrity, power integrity, packaging, power delivery, thermal, mechanical, power management, boot process, firmware, and hardware management.
•Proven track record of engineering problem solving and collaborating across disciplines and geographies to deliver innovative products.
