Key Responsibilities

  • •Define server product architecture and end-to-end system architecture for EPYC-based products.
  • •Architect solutions using AMD processors, accelerators, and network components for high-performance computing and large-scale datacenter applications.
  • •Collaborate with customers and internal engineering teams to define product/system/component requirements for best performance, power balance, and cost.
  • •Conduct R&D for next-generation server designs to continually improve performance.
  • •Influence future products/solutions by contributing to product and system architecture and technology execution.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with extensive experience.
  • •Demonstrated server products expertise across architecture, development, design, bring-up/validation, and release to production.
  • •Detailed understanding of server industry standards such as DDR, PCIe, and SATA, plus other high-speed I/O protocols.
  • •Deep knowledge of product architecture and design including memory, I/O, signal integrity, power integrity, packaging, power delivery, thermal, mechanical, power management, boot process, firmware, and hardware management.
  • •Proven track record of engineering problem solving and collaborating across disciplines and geographies to deliver innovative products.
