Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the three-year vision for device installation and provisioning as Samsara expands across new products, device types, and geographies.
  • •Set and improve install correctness by instrumenting the install funnel and moving the metric quarter over quarter.
  • •Own the guided install and verification flow in the Fleet app for both professional installers and customers.
  • •Build intelligence that verifies install correctness in real time (camera aim, wiring, and signal quality) while the installer is present.
  • •Translate insights from ride-alongs and customer yard sessions into roadmap that shapes hardware, firmware, and software decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of product management experience shipping products used by external customers.
  • •Own a business or product metric and change its trajectory with clear before-and-after results.
  • •Build products from zero to one without a spec, defined customer, or playbook.
  • •Have technical depth sufficient to partner with engineers on system architecture trade-offs, such as a degree in Computer Science or Engineering and/or prior engineering experience.
  • •Set multi-year direction and operate at both strategy and detail levels, with executive-level communication and comfort presenting to senior leadership and customers.
