Key Responsibilities

  • •Work as the VP Product’s closest partner: sit in key conversations, drive follow-through, and represent thinking when the leader can’t be in the room.
  • •Own the operational and strategic layer to scale the product org: launch rhythm, tool stack, top-level metrics, early access programmes, and product cadence.
  • •Treat the product org as your user—define problems, build what’s needed, drive adoption and coaching, and kill initiatives that don’t make the team faster.
  • •Build and run AI enablement and automations for the product team (agents, Claude skills, integrations, dashboards) and wire sources of truth so agents can read them.
  • •Own product comms and documentation: roadmap deck, internal newsletters/release notifications, technical/integration docs, and ensure releases are ready for internal and customer use.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 80,000 - 100,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •2 to 3 years in a chief-of-staff, product operations, product management, business operations, strategy and ops, or consulting role, ideally in B2B SaaS; strongest candidates have built systems they ran.
  • •Comfort operating with borrowed authority—represent a leader’s thinking, chase senior stakeholders, and be trusted with what can’t be delegated.
  • •Use AI instinctively: build agents, automations, or internal tools that others adopt and keep using; get to working prototypes quickly.
  • •Comfortable with data: pull, interrogate, and turn it into insights a PM will act on.
  • •Wants a close partnership style (not a role with a one-time remit), including disagreement and direct feedback where needed.
