Job Summary

Join Harness as a Senior Accountant based in Bangalore. Take ownership of the Accounts Payable lifecycle, manage daily cash operations, and support month-end closes and the India statutory audit. Key Responsibilities

•Complete accurate daily booking of all cash entries and perform timely bank and cash reconciliations.
•Oversee the entire AP workflow, including vendor invoice verification and processing, payment execution, and the tracking and booking of monthly accruals and prepaid expenses.
•Review and audit employee expense reports to ensure strict compliance with company T&E policy.
•Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
•Own and manage balance sheet reconciliations (prepaids, accruals, cash, and fixed assets).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com). Semi-qualified CA (Chartered Accountant) or ICWA is a strong plus.
•4-6 years of accounting/general ledger experience with an emphasis knowledge of accounting related requirements and regulations in India.
•Experience with NetSuite is required. Ramp/Zip experience is a plus.
•Strong work ethic and flexibility to work extended hours during critical periods such as month-end, quarter-end and year-end.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization both internally and externally.
