Job Summary

Own the design and development of secure enclave-based platforms for custody-critical cryptographic operations. Build and operate infrastructure that isolates signing, key handling, authorization, and policy enforcement, while delivering reliable and observable platform abstractions for internal teams. Evaluate and integrate trusted execution environments across AWS, GCP, and IBM, design secure enclave-to-service communication with attestation and encrypted channels, and lead threat modeling, reviews, mentoring, and security-standard contributions.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and operate secure enclave infrastructure for cryptographic workloads, including signing, key handling, authorization, and policy enforcement.
•Develop platform abstractions to make enclave-based deployment reliable, observable, and usable by internal engineering teams.
•Evaluate and integrate trusted execution technologies across cloud providers (AWS Nitro Enclaves, GCP confidential computing offerings, IBM HPVS).
•Build secure communication patterns between enclaves and external services, including attestation, encrypted channels, service identity, and request validation.
•Lead threat modeling and design/implementation reviews for high-assurance components, and mentor senior engineers to influence platform technical direction.

Key Requirements

•10+ years building production software, infrastructure, or distributed systems in security-sensitive and high-reliability environments.
•Hands-on experience with enclave-based or confidential computing platforms (e.g., AWS Nitro Enclaves, GCP confidential computing, IBM HPVS, Azure Confidential Computing, Intel SGX, AMD SEV-SNP, Intel TDX).
•Strong systems/backend programming experience using Rust, Go, C, C++, or Java to build reliable services and platform components.
•Experience designing and operating systems that protect highly sensitive data, including secrets and cryptographic keys/materials.
•Strong applied cryptography and security engineering knowledge, including encryption, digital signatures, key management, attestation, and protection of data at rest/in transit/in use.
