Job Summary

Design, implement, simulate, and test power-plant control and protection applications using Emerson’s Ovation platform, including control/graphic work originating from competitor DCS/PLC systems. Perform site walk-downs for data collection and I/O database preparation, partitioning, interface verification, and supervision of installation, commissioning, and start-up. Lead activities across Design Review Meetings and Factory Acceptance Tests (pre-FAT, FAT, and post-FAT cleanup) while ensuring safety/security compliance and partnering with internal and customer teams.

•Process knowledge of HRSG, Boiler, and BOP control systems.
•Control design, implementation, process sequencing, and protection philosophies for sub-critical/super-critical fossil-fired and combined cycle power plants.
•Proficiency with ISA and SAMA logic symbols, P&IDs, and electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics.
