Job Summary

Own and manage full-cycle fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, transfers, and balance sheet reconciliations. Support month-end close with timely journal entries, account reconciliations, and schedules. Perform risk-based open item reviews and resolve aged items, and assist with internal/external audit support. Collaborate with Operations, IT, and tax to ensure correct treatment and capex reporting, using AI and technology tools to improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•Own and manage full-cycle fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, transfers, impairment considerations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
•Record and reconcile accurate accounting transactions in the general ledger, ensuring proper coding, documentation, and IFRS compliance.
•Support month-end close by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
•Perform risk-based open item reviews, identify aged/unresolved items, escalate risk items, and execute clearing/resolution plans.
•Support internal and external audits with audit packages and documentation, and assist with bi-annual asset and inventory inspections.

Key Requirements

•Fixed asset accounting experience is preferred.
•Experience supporting cross-functional business teams.
