Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with stakeholders across business, architects, leadership, and service line heads to deliver sharable engineering artifacts.
  • •Work with Tech PO and Tech lead to shape scope and convert it to tangible engineering deliverables.
  • •Collaborate with central architecture, security, engineering, and networks teams to deliver HSBC baseline cloud architecture.
  • •Co-design and set common standards and practices with service lines to reduce duplicated technical artifacts.
  • •Ensure DevSecOps capabilities and solution alignment with FSA, covering security, observability, CI/CD, and secure engineering practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack, cloud-native software engineering.
  • •Strong Java experience including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
  • •Microservices and API-first design/development, including end-to-end service design, deployment, and operations.
  • •Experience with cloud and platform engineering such as Google Cloud Platform or AWS certification, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevSecOps automation.
