Job Summary

Own trade spend governance for Western Europe by ensuring transparent visibility of rebates and trade spend positions across customer, country, and zone levels. Support Year-to-Date/Year-to-Go reporting, identify inconsistencies and data-quality risks, and help drive resolutions. Ensure adherence to internal control standards (including SOX/SAL requirements), support documentation and audit readiness, and contribute to standardization. Participate in QEC/YEC close activities and lead or co-lead regional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure clear and consistent visibility of trade spend positions (accruals, commitments, actuals, phasing) across customer, country, and zone levels.
•Support high-quality Year-to-Date and Year-to-Go reporting for rebates and trade spend positions.
•Ensure adherence to internal control standards (including SOX/SAL07/SAL98 requirements) and support documentation and audit readiness.
•Support quarterly and year-end close processes, including review of balances, phasing, and accrual adjustments.
•Lead or co-lead regional projects and drive cross-country harmonization for trade spend, rebate processes, reporting, and internal controls.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Strategy, Auditing, Accounting, or equivalent.
•Minimum 7 years of experience in finance, controlling, FP&A, audit, or commercial finance.
•Strong understanding of financial processes, controls, and rebate & trade spend structures.
•Advanced analytical skills with strong Excel proficiency; SAP experience preferred.
•Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in a matrix organization.
