Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide teaching assistance to Applied Media faculty during studio hours, workshop and laboratory sessions.
  • •Assist in the development and maintenance of teaching materials.
  • •Demonstrate and support the use of computers, cameras, lights, mixers and studio equipment for student activities.
  • •Maintain, install, and troubleshoot lab equipment and facilities; set up studios/workshops/labs in preparation for projects and experiments.
  • •Maintain preventative maintenance schedules, maintenance logs, inventories of consumables, and borrowed-equipment tracking systems while reinforcing safety and housekeeping procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline is required.
  • •At least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in Broadcast/Media/Design/Training is preferred.
  • •Experience supervising small studio and outside broadcast operations.
  • •Proficiency using software used in Applied Media, especially Adobe products.
  • •Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills with demonstrated knowledge of studio operations and safety protocol.
