Job Summary

Lead telecom engineering on EPC projects by producing and reviewing standards, specifications, block diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering calculations across the full project lifecycle. Troubleshoot technical issues, support bid evaluations and vendor documentation review, and contribute to FAT/SAT activities. Coordinate with electrical designers, assess schedules and risks, provide input to cost estimates, and conduct site inspections to support installation, testing, and commissioning of telecommunications systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and produce telecom engineering documents, including standards/specifications, system block diagrams, layout drawings, and calculations.
•Review and approve telecom-related drawings and documents for accuracy, compliance, and quality standards.
•Troubleshoot and resolve telecom technical issues across all project phases.
•Prepare material requisitions, perform technical bid evaluations, and review vendor drawings and documentation.
•Provide technical support during FAT and SAT, and support installation, testing, and commissioning including site inspections and field assessments.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience.
•Demonstrated experience in telecommunication engineering for refinery, petrochemical, chemical, power, or pharmaceutical plant projects.
•Strong knowledge of applicable international codes and standards used in telecommunication system design.
•Extensive hands-on experience designing and integrating telecom systems including PA/GA and Talk-Back, analog/VoIP telephony, WAN/LAN networks, CCTV, radio systems (UHF/VHF/DTRS), and access control systems.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel for preparing, modifying, and managing telecom and electrical reports and schedules.
