Job Summary

Design and build Netflix’s infrastructure platform for Creative Compute & Storage, enabling global orchestration of compute, disk, network, and other resources. You’ll develop and advance core VM, container, network, and storage technologies; integrate with Netflix and third-party systems to support studio IaaS needs; and improve worldwide platform control and reliability. Partner with engineering, product, creatives, and vendors while focusing on developer experience, observability, and operational excellence.

•Orchestrate compute, disk, network, and other resources across globally distributed systems.
•Integrate with core Netflix technologies and third-party solutions to deliver cloud provider capabilities for studio needs.
•Develop and advance core VM, container, network, and storage technologies to support complex creative workflows.
•Build and operate robust, scalable, highly available infrastructure with strong developer experience, observability, and operational excellence; mentor other engineers.

•Solid experience setting technical directions for engineering projects, making architectural decisions, and influencing partner cross-functional teams.
•Familiarity with Linux and Linux systems programming.
•Experience with IaaS providers such as AWS, GCP, and VMware.
