Key Responsibilities

  • •Proactively manage assigned caseload of complex property damages and apply knowledge of claims coverage, liability exposure, and state regulatory requirements.
  • •Investigate claim damages by researching information from insureds, third parties, and external sources; identify discrepancies and potential subrogation.
  • •Analyze complex policy terms and prior loss history to determine coverage concerns and create SIU referrals when appropriate.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required.
  • •2+ years of relevant property claims adjusting experience for moderate complexity losses, including writing estimates and dwelling/structural damages.
  • •Advanced knowledge of estimating losses using Xactimate or similar tools and platforms.
  • •Proficient knowledge of residential construction and property claims contracts, including interpretation of case law and state laws/regulations.
  • •Ability to travel 50-75% of the year (local and non-local) and/or handle catastrophe duty when needed, plus acquire/maintain an insurance adjuster license within 90 days (3 attempts).
