Job Summary

Lead the regulated water asset design effort for municipal water clients, delivering wastewater and water treatment and network schemes. Own project delivery across health & safety, technical quality, schedule, and budget, while managing multi-disciplinary teams and client relationships. Contribute to bid preparation, resource planning, and innovative service delivery, and help drive Future Ready and Net Zero initiatives, including mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Own all aspects of project delivery including health & safety, technical, quality, schedule, and budget.
•Manage multi-disciplinary teams and shape service delivery across the wider WSP business in the UK and overseas.
•Build client relationships to ensure project outcomes and customer satisfaction.
•Contribute to innovative approaches, new services and digital products, and to implementation of the Future Ready and Net Zero programme.
•Undertake bid preparation, resource and budget development; line manage and support professional development of graduate engineers and degree apprentices.

Key Requirements

•A degree in Civil Engineering.
•Chartered status, or significant progression towards membership of the ICE or CIWEM.
•Experience managing engineering design teams comprising civil engineers and other supporting disciplines.
•Experience delivering projects to an identified budget and schedule.
•Experience acting in a checking or technical approval role on linear civil engineering infrastructure projects, or industrial/process related design.
