Accountable for rotating equipment repair and pump maintenance projects from start to finish, with a strong focus on safety, environmental compliance, quality, scope definition, productivity, cost, and schedule adherence. Lead maintenance standards, inspections, repair practices, quality control (ISO 9001), and failure root-cause analysis. Write estimates, procedures, and reports, create machine drawings, perform material testing, and manage capital/O&M project budgets across multiple work locations.

Key Responsibilities

•Promote safety by conducting pre-shift briefings, safety meetings, job safety audits, lockout/tagout compliance, and accident investigations.
•Oversee rotating equipment and pump repair work, including maintenance inspections, work methods, repair practices, and standards.
•Follow and monitor quality control procedures (ISO 9001) and ensure shop floor personnel and documentation comply.
•Develop work scopes, resource allocations, and schedules with planning and shop leadership; manage projects across multiple locations within budget.
•Perform equipment failure root cause analysis; produce estimates, repair procedures, final reports, machine drawings, material measurements, and material selection.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years of experience in a pump repair shop or related field.
•Knowledge of pump repair specifications (API).
•Strong understanding of mechanical systems.
•Knowledge of machining and welding processes.
•Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
