Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify and drive initiatives that change how ML runs in production, including orchestration/deployment modernization and infrastructure retirement.
  • •Build and ship ML platform infrastructure end-to-end, including multi-region model serving and pipelines that keep customer models healthy.
  • •Own the platform’s technical vision and reliability/cost bar across training, deployment, serving, and observability; lead incident response.
  • •Drive cross-team initiatives spanning shared infrastructure, deployment tooling, and data systems owned with partner teams.
  • •Improve engineering quality via design/code reviews and production readiness, and mentor senior engineers and data scientists.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years building and operating distributed systems in production, including deployment and operations responsibilities.
  • •Hands-on experience running ML workloads in production (training pipelines, model serving, feature systems, or ML platform tooling).
  • •Owned direction for a team and led multi-quarter initiatives across boundaries while maintaining high personal output.
  • •Deep working knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure, including identity/access management and networking, plus cost awareness.
  • •Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code, and ability to communicate clearly to build consensus.
