Job Summary

Lead the efficiency and cost agenda for Mercado Envios distribution operations (Cross Docking, Service Centers, Sortation and Transport), ensuring governance of key cost drivers and productivity. Oversee end-to-end KPIs for transport and operations, perform variance analyses (plan vs. actual, budget vs. actual), and implement continuous improvement initiatives with Operations, Network Planning, Control Tower, Finance and Procurement.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the efficiency and cost agenda for distribution operations (Cross Docking, Service Centers, Sortation and Transport) with governance of key cost drivers and productivity.
•Govern projects on Efficiency and Costs with transversal coordination across interfaces and alignment with interfaces.
•Structure and monitor end-to-end KPIs for Transport and Operations (cost per package/route, occupancy, gross/net productivity).
•Perform variance and performance analyses (plan vs. real, budget vs. actual, forecast vs. actual).
•Design and drive continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with Operations, Network Planning, Control Tower, Finance and Procurement using PDCA and execution discipline.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Administration, Economics, Logistics, Projects or related field.
•Proven experience in logistics projects with PMO and in efficiency operational cost management in logistics/transport operations.
•Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate metrics into actionable recommendations (cost, productivity, capacity, service level).
•Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Tableau or Looker.
•Availability to work in a hybrid setup at Mercado Livre operations in Brazil, during business hours, Monday to Friday.
