Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess day-to-day priorities and stay informed of airline operations within assigned areas of responsibility.
  • •Investigate aircraft/component problems related to aircraft software and determine corrective actions to prevent delays, cancellations, and maintenance interruptions.
  • •Provide engineering support to Maintenance and other departments for technical assistance to support projects and resolve problems.
  • •Develop action plans for fleet/multi-fleet and/or component engineering projects and pursue final dispositions according to assessed priorities.
  • •Prepare engineering documents and customized procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections, and other maintenance actions while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company manuals.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
  • •2 years of related experience.
  • •3-6 years experience as an engineer with aircraft systems or related experience.
  • •Experience authoring, revising, and creating Engineering Orders (EOs), Maintenance Evaluation Team (MET) Projects, and Engineering Authorizations (EAs).
  • •Knowledge of CFRs and maintenance documents/programs including WDM, AMM, IPC, TSM, and CMM.
