Key Responsibilities

  • •Guide engineering teams in end-to-end secure system design and implementation as a security subject-matter expert.
  • •Conduct threat modeling, architecture review, security code review, security assessment, and security testing across application and infrastructure layers.
  • •Perform cloud infrastructure security reviews, with primary focus on AWS permissions and configuration issues (including IAM and S3).
  • •Run in-depth security reviews for new features and functionalities, identifying vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top Ten) and risks such as RCE.
  • •Recommend security architecture/configuration improvements and provide hands-on security training and secure coding best practices to engineering teams.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of security experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Cyber Security, Computer or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •Extensive experience in security testing across web applications, native applications, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS.
  • •Strong understanding of software security architecture and the SDLC, including threat modeling, secure code review, and cryptography.
  • •Hands-on experience with AWS and common AWS service components, with the ability to identify design and configuration gaps.
  • •Good development experience in one or more programming languages/platforms, such as Java.
