Job Summary

Lead the design and development of services, data flows, and integration surfaces that collect, normalize, and expose engineering quality signals across Splunk repositories and teams. Work with internal engineering and platform partners to define standards, KPIs, and quality maturity models, and translate broad quality goals into practical technical deliverables. You’ll drive architecture and adoption, run design and code reviews, and improve maintainability, operability, and release readiness.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment and operations.
•Design and build backend services, data pipelines, and integration surfaces for engineering quality signals.
•Develop internal applications and engineering interfaces that help teams explore, understand, and act on quality data.
•Define scalable approaches for quality data collection, KPI computation, maturity modeling, and service-to-service integrations.
•Mentor engineers and lead design and code reviews, including rotating on-call to diagnose and resolve service and integration issues as needed.

Key Requirements

•Strong software engineering fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and system design.
•Strong coding expertise in Python or Golang, with hands-on backend development experience.
•Experience building backend services, APIs, or internal platforms used by other engineering teams.
•Experience with data processing, metrics pipelines, or systems that aggregate and normalize data from multiple sources.
•Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and designing integrations across CI/CD and engineering infrastructure.
