Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure underwriters comply with underwriting authority, pricing, and rating guidelines.
  • •Steer and control the local portfolio in conjunction with the Head of Property to drive financial targets.
  • •Liaise with functional areas to review performance across the end-to-end underwriting lifecycle.
  • •Work with Sales, Risk Consulting, Claims, and other product lines to achieve marketing strategies, including cross-selling.
  • •Support product development and new business acquisition/retention through agent and broker negotiations; communicate local strategy externally.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 45,000 - 55,000

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Engineering, Economics, Law, or equivalent experience.
  • •At least 3 years of underwriting experience in profitable Property business for corporate clients (PD/BI and Theft).
  • •Experience with multinational clients and knowledge of Liability (preferred).
  • •Expertise in risk assessment and understanding of the policy administration life cycle.
  • •Strong pricing knowledge and market analysis skills, including experience designing robust wordings and driving underwriting projects (preferred).
