Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Process supplier invoices, set up supplier accounts, and handle weekly BACS payments.
  • •Raise customer sales invoices and chase debtors.
  • •Perform reconciliations for supplier statements, credit cards, show floats, and multiple bank accounts.
  • •Oversee venue settlement accounting: chase final venue settlements, review and post settlements to Xero, and maintain settlement records and audit trails.
  • •Support month-end and year-end activities including reporting status to the Finance Director, preliminary show reconciliations, and year-end audits.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 2 years’ experience in concert promotions, event management, or music industry finance.
  • •Intermediate Excel proficiency with strong numeracy and attention to detail.
  • •Understanding of VAT treatments, plus FEU taxation and withholding tax.
  • •Studying toward a finance qualification such as AAT, CIMA, or ACCA.
  • •Ability to work methodically with high-volume processing and to meet tight month-end and daily deadlines.
